SDX-Cloud 2.6.0 adds faster high-resolution processing with optional SLAM support for Ultimate-licensed systems, expands SDX-CAD and site balancing workflows, and adds more control in project, system, and continuous scanning settings.
SDX-Cloud: 2.6.0 - What's New
Summary
SDX-Cloud 2.6.0 was released on September 18, 2026.
This release focuses on faster and more transparent high-resolution processing, better control in site balancing and historical project work, stronger SDX-CAD workflows, clearer project and system settings, broader language support, and improved reference image capture for continuous scanning.
Key highlights
Faster high-resolution processing with optional SLAM support
High-resolution processing now supports SLAM for eligible systems with an Ultimate license. You can enable SLAM per system, use it during high-resolution processing, and review the result in dataset outputs together with a new processing report. Processing is also significantly faster than before and now includes point extraction.

Site balancing now supports omitted positive and negative volumes
The Site Balancing tool now includes Omitted Positive Volume and Omitted Negative Volume fields. You can use them to exclude material that should not be counted in the final cut and fill balance, which reduces manual adjustments outside the tool.

SDX-CAD workflows are easier to manage at scale
You can now import SDX-CAD field code lists from a JSON file instead of creating definitions one by one. Measurement filtering can also search SDX-CAD field content, and the filter now shows how many results match the current query.

Project and system settings now expose more processing controls
Project Settings now shows the stored project origin, including project, reference, and global origin values. High-resolution colorization can also be controlled at system level and overridden per project, which gives you more control over how datasets are processed and reviewed.

Historical project work and mesh generation are more flexible
You can now create pile geofences and manipulations up to 60 scan days in the past. True surface calculation and mesh export also expose mesh generation parameters, so you can adjust point-cloud resolution and height tolerance instead of relying on fixed defaults.

SDX-4DVision can capture reference images during continuous scanning
SDX-4DVision systems can now capture reference images during normal scanning without requiring manual interaction during the run. You can configure image capture at system or project level and optionally filter images where the excavator shovel dominates the frame.

SDX-Cloud supports additional languages
SDX-Cloud now supports additional languages through the updated translation workflow. This helps more users work in their preferred language.

Fixes and improvements
- High-resolution processing: Previously, customers had limited control over advanced processing behavior and could wait up to 24 hours depending on dataset size. SDX-Cloud 2.6.0 adds optional SLAM support, generates a processing report after each high-resolution run, and improves processing speed.
- Project settings: Previously, customers had no direct place to verify the stored project origin. Project Settings now shows project, reference, and global origin values, with optional map pin visibility.
- Site balancing: Previously, omitted material had to be adjusted manually outside the tool. You can now deduct omitted positive and negative volumes directly in the site balancing workflow.
- Historical work limits: Previously, pile geofences and manipulations could only be created within tighter historical limits. You can now work up to 60 scan days in the past.
- Colorization control: Previously, high-resolution colorization followed a fixed default behavior. You can now disable it at system level and override it per project.
- SDX-CAD search and import: Previously, SDX-CAD field definitions had to be added one by one, and filters only searched measurement names. You can now bulk import field lists from JSON, search field content, and see the number of matching results.
- System list clarity: Frozen and copied systems are now hidden by default, with a toggle to show them again when needed.
- Mesh output control: True surface calculation and mesh export now expose configurable point-cloud resolution and height tolerance values.
- Language coverage: Additional languages are now available in SDX-Cloud.
- Continuous scanning image capture: SDX-4DVision systems can now create reference images during normal scanning and optionally filter out images dominated by the shovel.
