After the calibration package is complete, Sodex loads the calibration to the machine. Your part is to keep the machine as it was measured, place the boom before scanning, and hold the machine and boom still while the calibration scans run. Keep a record of the result.

Before you start
- The package from SDX-4DVision: Prepare the calibration package was accepted.
- The machine geometry matches the machine that was measured. If anything was changed on the machine or on the mounting since, tell Sodex Support before you scan.
- The control point data and the .dc file for the site are available.
Run the calibration scans
- Confirm with Sodex Support that the calibration data is loaded to the machine.
- Move the boom to the position you were asked for before the scan starts.
- Start the calibration scan.
- Keep the machine and the boom stationary while the scan runs.
- Repeat for each calibration scan you were asked to make.
Expected result
The calibration result is available and the scanned points agree with your control points or rover measurements.
What to send to Sodex Support
- The calibration result and any changed values you were given
- The control points or rover measurements you compared with, and the difference
- Whether you accept the result, and open follow-ups
