TL;DR Sodex Mobile 1.3.0 adds UHF radio corrections through a SATEL EASy+ radio, an optional stakeout helper that selects the closest point, and more complete SDX-PocketScan captures when color frames are missing.
Summary
Sodex Mobile 1.3.0 was released on October 12, 2026.
Sodex Mobile 1.3.0 helps you reach RTK Fix where there is no internet connection, speeds up stakeout, and keeps more of your SDX-PocketScan data when the camera drops color frames.
Key highlights
UHF radio support with SATEL EASy+
Sodex Mobile now supports UHF radio corrections through a SATEL EASy+ radio, connected over Bluetooth Low Energy. Connect to a base station and reach RTK Fix without an internet connection.
Select the closest point automatically during stakeout
The pole screen has a new stakeout extension that you can switch on or off. When it is on, Sodex Mobile selects the closest point automatically for validation. The GNSS status bar stays visible while you work.
More complete SDX-PocketScan captures
A missing color (RGB) frame no longer causes the matching depth frame to be dropped. If color data is dropped, PLY exports now include those points without color instead of leaving them out.
Fixes and improvements
- UHF radio: Previously, reaching RTK Fix needed an internet connection. With a SATEL EASy+ radio over Bluetooth Low Energy, you can connect to a base station and reach RTK Fix without one.
- Stakeout: Previously, you had to pick the point to validate yourself. You can now switch on automatic selection of the closest point in the pole screen.
- SDX-PocketScan capture: Previously, a missing color frame could cause depth frames to be dropped. Depth frames are now kept, and PLY exports include uncolored points when color data is missing.
