If creating a project fails with a .lok file whose structure is correct, the file may use a Gauß-Krüger variant that SDX-Cloud does not support yet. In a resolved case this was a Gauß-Krüger zone together with a national height system, and Sodex added the variant after review.
Rule out a normal file problem
Open the file in the application that created it and check that the coordinate system and the height system match the project. Read DC-File and LOK-File Import for the files SDX-Cloud expects.
Collect the files
Gather the .lok file and any .grd and .gcg files that belong to it, the control points, and the exact name of the coordinate system and the height system.
Contact Sodex Support
Send the files and the coordinate system details. Support checks whether the variant is supported and, if needed, passes it on to be added. Ask which release contains the change before you try again.
Check the result
Create the project again with the same files. The project is created and the localization file is accepted.
What to send to Sodex Support
- The .lok, .grd, and .gcg files
- Control points
- Coordinate system and height system names
- The exact error text
