TL;DR SDX-Cloud 2.9.0 adds a direct signup inside SDX-Cloud with a built-in Help and onboarding sidebar, larger page sizes for tables, and a more prominent create button.
Summary
SDX-Cloud 2.9.0 was released on October 12, 2026.
SDX-Cloud 2.9.0 makes it easier to start with SDX-Cloud and to work with long lists. New users sign up directly in SDX-Cloud, tables show more rows per page, and the create button in tables is easier to find.
Key highlights
Sign up directly in SDX-Cloud
New users now sign up in SDX-Cloud itself instead of being sent through a separate sign-up page and an emailed link. Select your region, enter your email address, and set a password, which you confirm in a second field. SDX-Cloud signs you in right away.
Until your email address is verified and your details are complete, a pop-up blocks the rest of SDX-Cloud. It shows the current verification status and lets you resend the verification email. Enter these details to continue:
- Username
- First name
- Last name
- Organization name
- Phone number
- Industry (not needed if you were invited to an existing organization)
You can also set your language, conversion system, number formatting, date format, time zone, and time format. These settings are optional.
After you follow the link in the verification email and return to SDX-Cloud, the pop-up recognizes the verified address. Once all required details are entered, you can start working. New accounts include a demo project with two small scans.

A Help and onboarding sidebar
A sidebar on the right side of SDX-Cloud gives new users a starting point. You can expand or minimize it. It has two tabs: Getting Started and Help Center Chatbot. Getting Started opens by default the first time, and SDX-Cloud remembers the tab you used last.
More rows per page in tables
Tables in SDX-Cloud now offer page sizes of 50, 100, 250, and 500. The sizes 10 and 25 are no longer available. If you have not saved a page size before, tables show 100 rows per page. A page size you saved earlier is kept.
A more prominent create button
The create button in SDX-Cloud tables is now easier to find, so you can see quickly where to start creating an item, such as a project.
Fixes and improvements
- Signup: Previously, signing up involved a separate region page, an emailed sign-up link, account creation, email verification, and a final login. SDX-Cloud 2.9.0 keeps the whole sign-up in SDX-Cloud and signs you in immediately.
- Onboarding: Previously, there was no starting point inside SDX-Cloud for new users. A Help and onboarding sidebar now links to the Help Center and offers a Help Center chatbot.
- Table page sizes: Previously, tables offered 10, 25, 50, and 100 rows per page. They now offer 50, 100, 250, and 500, with 100 as the default when no page size is saved.
- Create button: Previously, the create button in tables was hard to spot. It is now more prominent.
