Version 1.1.7 refines background job management, introduces new visual indicators for job progress, significantly boosts mesh and point cloud performance, and corrects crucial upload bugs.
Tip: Need to stop an upload or processing task? You can now simply swipe on active jobs in the Job Board to cancel them instantly.
Improved
Background Processing & Job UI
- List Status Indicators: Added visual upload/processing status indicators (clock, spinner, and cloud icons) directly next to the scan name in the scan list.
- Instant Visibility: Scans now appear in your list immediately after selecting "Process in Background", eliminating the previous ~30-second delay.
- Swipe-to-Cancel & Delete: You can now swipe to cancel active processing and uploading jobs. Swiping to delete a job will now prompt a helpful confirmation dialog to prevent accidental deletion.
- Job Details & Sorting: Completed jobs are now intuitively sorted with the latest at the top. The job detail sheet now features a drag indicator for easier dismissal.
- Text Wrapping: Project names can now wrap to two lines instead of cutting off, and the scan name input field now supports up to three lines of text.
Performance & Scanning Engine
- Mesh Rendering: Drastically reduced frame drops and improved overall rendering performance for mesh visualization.
- Optimized Defaults:
- The default frame limit has been increased to 1000.
- Default scan constraints updated for better accuracy (distance threshold: 0.2m, rotation threshold: 10°).
- PLY downsample default changed to 1/6 to generate smaller, more manageable point clouds.
- Memory Optimization: Added a new Point Cloud Max Depth setting (default 2.8m) to reduce 3D viewer memory usage on larger scans.
Fixed
Critical Uploads & Bugs
- Wrong Project Uploads: Fixed a critical bug where background uploads were incorrectly being assigned to the first project listed in the API instead of the project where the scan was actually captured.
- Frame Limit Accuracy: Fixed an off-by-one bug where setting the frame limit to 1000 previously only captured 999 frames.
- UI Cleanup:
- Fixed an issue where removed mesh anchors weren't cleaning up properly.
- Fixed an error status that persisted in the UI even after a job successfully auto-retried.
- Fixed a visual glitch that occurred when rapidly toggling the Edit/Done buttons in the scan list.
- Corrected timeline date alignment in the job detail view.
