A more unified & extensive device management, new shop products (photogrammetry flatrates and SDX-PocketScan license) as well as a more personalized signup experience arrive to the SDX-Cloud.
Device Management
This release introduces a dedicated Device Management area as the central place to control non-SDX hardware & the SDX-PocketScan.
A new “Devices” section is available under Organization → Settings, providing separate tabs for SDX-PocketScan, drones, DJI docks and viDoc devices.
Each device exposes technical flags such as Active (controls whether uploads from that device are processed automatically) and, where supported, Create pins (controls whether Infomap pins are created from new data).
Devices can be linked to photogrammetry flatrates (used exclusively for photogrammetry processing); if no flatrate is present, processing can instead use available photogrammetry credits.
Licenses and photogrammetry flatrates are hardware-bound to the device serial number: once assigned they cannot be removed, the device can no longer be deleted, and only general properties (name, description, Active, Create pins) remain editable.
For a full description of the new behavior and configuration options, see the Helpcenter articles “Device Management Overview in SDX-Cloud” and “Adding & Managing Devices in SDX-Cloud”.
DJI Dock & Drone Integration in Device Management
DJI docks and drones are now integrated into Device Management with an explicit dock–drone relationship and updated photogrammetry billing behavior.
DJI docks can be managed directly in Device Management and configured with exactly one active drone per dock, making the pairing visible and editable in the SDX-Cloud UI.
Flight datasets executed via a dock are uploaded under the dock together with its active drone; the dock’s Active flag controls automatic processing, and its Create pins flag controls whether Infomap pins are generated from those flights.
-
Photogrammetry flatrates are applied per flight dataset without double-charging, even if both the dock and its assigned drone have a flatrate configured; when no flatrate is present, processing for dock-based flights can fall back to available photogrammetry credits.
Please keep the gigapixel limits per flight when utilizing a flatrate
For detailed configuration steps, examples, and billing behavior across different dock–drone setups, see the Helpcenter article “DJI Dock & Drone Integration Workflow".
Signup Process Localization
All signup flows now include a step to configure your Regional and Language Preferences — ensuring every new user starts with the correct settings from day one.
- Users can define preferences such as:
- Timezone
- Measurement conversion system (metric/imperial)
- Date format
- Time format (12h or 24h)
- These settings are automatically pre‑filled based on your local system timezone for a faster, seamless setup experience.
Time Format Setting
We’ve added a dedicated Time Format option to your user preferences, allowing you to freely switch between:
- 24‑hour clock
- 12‑hour clock (AM/PM)
This setting is available across all time displays in the SDX‑Cloud interface for a more consistent and personalized experience.
Shared Dashboard Improvements
When sharing dashboards, recipients now benefit from proper localization:
- All regional and language preferences from the host (including timezone, units, and formats) are now automatically applied when viewing a newly generated shared dashboard link.
Note: Older shared links will continue using their original display configuration.
