SDX-CAD Enhancements & Quality of Life Improvements

This release delivers faster point manipulation in SDX‑CAD, a clearer hierarchy view, more flexible measurement handling, and multiple UI polish updates.

SDX‑CAD Enhancements

• Hierarchy view upgrades: All measurement layers are now grouped by source (Snapshot, High‑res, Global) for faster navigation. See 2.1 Viewing and Managing the Global Hierarchy.
• Extend Measurement from any point: Start a new line measurement from any existing measurement point visible in the infomap—even if it belongs to a different layer or snapshot. See 3.1 Start a new line measurement from any existing point.
• Performance improvements: Point manipulation now reprocesses only inserted or moved points, significantly reducing processing time on large drawings.
• Source-aware labels: Measurement labels now include their source name for quick identification.
• Consistent zoom on jump-to: Jumping to a measurement in map view now uses a fixed, optimal zoom level.
• Centered polygon options: Volume calculation controls in the polygon property panel are now centered for improved readability.

Telekom‑Specific Improvements

• Smart Image Transfer:
  • Default sampling: For snapshots with < 100 images, every 5th image is transferred; for snapshots with ≥ 100 images, every 10th image is transferred to the Telekom Digital Platform.
  • Context‑aware transfer: When new points are added and transferred, SDX automatically selects the best 4 images (based on distance and field of view toward the point) and transfers them to Telekom.
• Point material selection: Telekom point measurements now support selecting a point material.
• Sticky measurement settings: Creating Telekom measurements now remembers and reapplies the last used configuration for the same measurement type (unless layer defaults are defined).
• Material coloring & categories: Added magenta coloring options to applicable line materials and consolidated standalone categories into a generalized category.
• API update: Telekom API v3 is integrated in the backend.

Other Improvements

• Faster Snapshot picking: Clicking the search field in the Snapshot/High‑res picker instantly opens the list of available layers for quicker selection.

  

• Cleaner visualization imports: When importing High‑res layers into a visualization project, filenames are removed. Layers display creation dates, and point cloud names auto‑fill as [Layer name] + [Date].
• GCP export: Snapshot processing files popup now includes a CSV download for GCPs.
• Photogrammetry metadata columns: For orgs with Sodex photogrammetry processing enabled, the Snapshot table adds: Point Cloud Density, Point Cloud Quality, and Orthophoto Resolution.

Fixes

• Resolved erratic scrolling in the Snapshot processing files popup.
• Unsupported photogrammetry file formats now show a default icon.
• DXF import now accepts both .dxf and .DXF file extensions.
