Introduction
The SDX-PocketScan receiver uses three LEDs to communicate its current state.
- LED1 (outer): Main RGB status LED for charging state, Bluetooth state, touch feedback, correction-data activity, and system errors.
- LED2 (middle): Blue LED that turns on when the receiver has an RTK FIX.
- LED3 (inner): Orange LED that starts blinking when the receiver has valid GNSS time information.
When the receiver is turned off and connected to power, LED1 is used only for battery and charging indication.
Prerequisites
No setup is required to read the LEDs. Make sure you can clearly see the three LEDs on the receiver and note whether the receiver is turned off and charging or turned on and active.

LED positions
- LED1 (outer): Main RGB status LED.

LED1 status and behavior

LED2 and LED3
- LED2 (middle, blue): Lights up when the receiver has successfully obtained an RTK FIX.
- LED3 (inner, orange): Starts blinking when the receiver has received valid GNSS time information.
Power-on and charging behavior
- To power on the receiver with the touch sensor, press for about 1 second until you see the purple impulse on LED1.
- Release for about 0.5 seconds.
- Press and hold again until LED1 starts blinking blue.
- If the receiver is turned off and plugged into power, LED1 only shows battery state with solid red, orange, or green.
Limits and notes
- LED1 can briefly overwrite its normal state to show touch feedback, correction-data activity, or battery-threshold changes.
- A fast blinking orange LED1 indicates a system error that requires a reset.
- While the receiver is charging and turned off, connection-state indications are not shown on LED1.
