Overview
The Project Overview page gives you a single place to browse and manage projects in SDX-Cloud. It combines a searchable project list and an interactive map in one view.
The project list is shown on the left. The map is shown on the right. You can drag the divider between them to resize the panels and focus on the list or the map.
Use the map to quickly understand where projects are located, then open a project from the list to start working.
Features
Combined list and map
The Project Overview shows the project list and map side-by-side. This lets you browse projects in the list and see their locations at the same time.
Projects can be highlighted between the list and map (for example, selecting a project in the list can highlight its marker on the map).
If multiple projects are close together, the map may group them into a numbered cluster. Zoom in to see individual pins.
Project list with search and sorting
The list shows projects in rows with key information in columns.
You can sort the list by clicking a column header (click again to reverse the sort). Use the search bar to find projects quickly. Search also includes projects in subfolders. Use the dropdown next to search to limit the search to a specific column.
Interactive map
The map shows each project as a pin (or a cluster if projects are close together). You can pan and zoom to explore different regions.
Clicking a project pin typically highlights the project in the list and may show a small preview.
Folders
You can organize projects into folders to keep large project lists manageable. Folders can contain projects and sub-folders. Expand or collapse folders in the list to navigate your hierarchy.
Toolbar actions
The toolbar at the top of the page provides quick actions and view options. Common actions include:
- Add Folder to create a new folder.
- Add Project to create a new project.
- Show/Hide Columns to choose which columns appear in the list.
- Toggle Map to show or hide the map panel.
- Multi-select to select multiple projects or folders for bulk actions.
Folder and project actions
You can manage projects and folders directly from the project list using toolbar buttons and the actions menu (the … menu at the end of a row).

Actions menu (…)
The actions menu provides item-specific options.
- Projects support actions such as Open, Rename, Move, and Delete.
- Folders support actions such as Rename, Move, and Delete.
A folder must be empty before it can be deleted. Move or delete its contents first if the delete option is disabled.

Sort by Last Updated to quickly find recently changed projects.

FAQ
How do I hide or show the map?
Use the map toggle button in the top toolbar. It hides the map panel and expands the list to full width. Select it again to show the map.
Can I adjust the size of the list and map?
Yes. Drag the divider between the list and map left or right to resize the panels.
How do I create a new project?
Select Add Project in the toolbar, enter the project details, and create the project. You may need the required permissions to see or use this option.
How do I organize projects into folders?
Create a folder using Add Folder, then move projects into it using the project actions menu (… → Move). If supported, you can also drag projects onto a folder.
What’s the difference between a project and a folder?
A project contains data and opens into a workspace. A folder is an organizational container that groups projects (and possibly sub-folders).
Why do I see a number on a map marker?
A numbered marker is a cluster. It represents multiple projects close together. Zoom in to see individual project pins.
Why is “Delete Folder” greyed out?
Folders usually can only be deleted when empty. Move or delete the contents first, then try again.
Will my view settings persist?
In most cases, yes. SDX-Cloud typically saves your Project Overview preferences (map visibility, column selections, and order) for your user account.
If your preferences do not persist, check whether your browser blocks cookies or site storage.
