This article describes the complete sign-up flow for new SDX-Cloud customers:
from creating a personal user account to setting up the first organization.
The sign-up wizard consists of three steps: create your user account, configure your account, and create your organization.

The sign-up wizard consists of three steps:

Create account: personal user profile and login credentials

Configure your account: regional and formatting preferences
-
Create organization: company / team space and billing details
After completing these steps, you can sign in and start using SDX-Cloud.
How do I get the sign-up link?
There is
no public self-service sign-up page
for SDX-Cloud.
Instead, you receive a
registration link either:
-
directly from Sodex Innovations, or
-
from an authorized reseller, who can generate customer-specific links.
If you don’t have a registration link yet, contact your Sodex Innovations representative or your reseller to request one.
Free Tier
-
Grants the customer a free-tier SDX-Cloud organization.
-
The organization is created with the free-tier limitations configured by Sodex.
Free Trial
-
Grants the customer a time-limited trial (for example, 30 days) of SDX-Cloud.
-
After registration, the trial organization can later be upgraded to a paid plan.
Paid signup
For paid signup there are commercial variants such as:
-
Paid with system: SDX-Cloud subscription is bundled with an SDX system (e.g. SDX-Compact).

Paid without system: standalone SDX-Cloud subscription.
Once you have received one of these links, the sign-up wizard described below starts.
Step 1 – Create your user account

Open the SDX-Cloud sign-up link in your browser.

On the Create account page, fill in the form:

First name*

Last name*
-
Phone number*
-
Username*
-
E-Mail*
-
Password*
-
Confirm password*
-

Click Next to continue.
Fields marked with * are mandatory. If Next is disabled, double-check that all required fields are filled in.
Step 2 – Configure your account
In the second step you define how SDX-Cloud displays units, numbers, and dates for your user account.
The Configure your account page contains:

Conversion system*
-
Select how distances and measurements are displayed (for example, Metric).

Number formatting*
-
Choose how decimals and thousand separators are shown (for example, European).
-
-
Date format*
-
Select the preferred date layout (e.g. German, US, ISO).
-

Set timezone*
-
Choose the timezone used for timestamps (for example, Locale timezone (Europe/Vienna)).

Time format*
-
Choose between 24-hour and 12-hour clock.
-
After selecting the desired options, click Next.
Step 3 – Create your organization
In the final step you create the organization that will own licenses, devices, and projects.
The Invoice Email must be confirmed via the verification email. Until it is confirmed, billing-related actions (e.g., purchases) can fail.
On the Create organization page, fill in:

Name*
-
The organization’s display name (e.g. company or department).

Phone number*
-
Main contact number for the organization.
-

Invoice Email*
-
Email address that will receive invoices and billing information.
-
This invoice email must be confirmed via the verification email.
-

Currency*
-
Default billing currency for the organization (e.g. € (EUR)).

When all fields are completed, click Create.
After this step:

The organization is created.
-
The current user becomes the owner/admin of this new organization.
Interactive Demo
First login
Once the sign-up process is complete, you will see the standard Sign in screen.

Go to the SDX-Cloud login page.
-
Enter the E-Mail address you used in Step 1.
-
Enter your Password.
-
Click Sign in.
At this point you will enter SDX-Cloud with your new user account and freshly created organization.
Next, complete your billing setup as described in ‘Managing Billing Information & Invoice Email in SDX-Cloud’ so you can buy licenses and flatrates.
Troubleshooting

“Next” or “Create” button is disabled
-
Check that all mandatory fields (
*) are filled in. -
Verify that both password fields match.

Email already in use
-
An account with this email address already exists. Use Sign in instead, or use a different email.
-

Cannot complete organization creation
-
Confirm that the invoice email and phone number are valid.
-
If the issue persists, contact Sodex Support with a screenshot of the last step.
