Overview

When a user logs into SDX-Cloud, they are directed to the Project Overview Page. This page provides two different viewing options: a Standard Project List or a Project Map View.

Project List View

The Project List View presents projects in a table format, organized into folders for better structure and navigation.

Features

• Project Organization: Projects are listed in a structured table format.
• Folder Management: Users can create new folders or add new projects via the button in the top-right corner.
• Filtering Options: Users can filter the list based on various columns and project attributes.
• Project Access:
  • Open a project by clicking on its name.
  • Navigate into a folder and open a project from there.
• Moving Projects:
  • A Move Project icon is available next to the project settings icon.
  • Projects can be moved between folders or into newly created folders.

Project Map View

The Project Map View provides a visual representation of projects on a satellite map with marked project locations.

Features

• Satellite Map View:
  • Projects are displayed based on their real-world locations.
  • Clicking on a project or number cluster zooms into the area for better visibility.
• Project Access:
  • Left-click on a project to open it.
  • Right-click on a project name for more options.
• Project List Sidebar:
  • A small project list is displayed on the left side.
  • Projects are organized in a folder structure similar to the List View.
  • Users can open projects by clicking on them in the list.
• Additional Actions:
  • Create new folders and projects quickly.
  • Use filtering tools to locate projects efficiently.
  • Hide projects that the user does not have access to (unauthorized projects are grayed out).

Customization Options

Users can switch between List View and Map View in their User Settings. Once set, SDX-Cloud will remember their preference upon login.

How to Switch Views

1. Navigate to User Settings.
2. Locate the Project Overview Display option.
3. Select either List View or Map View.
4. Changes are saved automatically.
