Summary
SDX-Framework 2.12.0 was released on June 1, 2026. This release improves configuration workflows, adds support for additional base station setups, increases camera image quality, and introduces IBSS support for devices running the new GNSS firmware.
Key highlights
Faster UHF configuration
The UHF configuration flow was reworked so changes are applied faster than before. This helps reduce waiting time when you update radio settings and continue with setup.
900MHz Leica base station support
SDX-Framework now supports configuration for 900MHz Leica base stations. This expands the range of supported field setups and makes it easier to work with compatible Leica hardware.
Improved camera image quality
Camera image quality was increased from 720p to 1080p. This gives you sharper images for review and documentation workflows.
IBSS support with the new GNSS firmware
SDX-Framework now supports IBSS when your device is running the new GNSS firmware. This makes the IBSS workflow available in environments where the updated firmware is in use.
Fixes and improvements
- UHF configuration: Configuration changes are now applied faster, which shortens setup time.
- Leica base stations: You can now configure supported 900MHz Leica base stations in SDX-Framework.
