Assign a ViDoc device to a project

  1. Open the target project in SDX-Cloud.
  2. Go to Access Management.
  3. Add the correct ViDoc device to the project.
  4. Assign the correct Device user to the project.
  5. Grant access and save the changes.

Expected result: The ViDoc device appears in the Scin App on the mobile device.

If the ViDoc device does not appear in the Scin App after assignment, verify that the correct Device user and ViDoc device were added in the project's Access Management.

Upload data from the assigned device

  1. Open the assigned device in the Scin App.
  2. Start the upload from the ViDoc device.
  3. Wait for the synchronization to complete.

Expected result: Data is uploaded from the ViDoc device to SDX-Cloud automatically after the assignment is active.

Remove project access from a ViDoc device

  1. Open the target project in SDX-Cloud.
  2. Go to Access Management.
  3. Remove the ViDoc device or revoke the related user access.

Expected result: The ViDoc device can no longer upload data to the project.

Warning
If the Device user is deleted, their access is removed completely and the ViDoc can no longer upload data to the project.

Limits and notes

  • Automatic upload depends on the correct ViDoc device and Device user being assigned to the same project.
  • If project access is revoked, the ViDoc device loses upload access immediately.
  • If the Device user is deleted, all associated permissions are removed.
